Edwina Booth Grossman was an American actress born on June 9, 1905 in Provo, Utah. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. She is best known for her role in the 1930 film Trader Horn, which was filmed in Africa and considered a landmark in adventure filmmaking.

During the filming of Trader Horn, Grossman contracted a severe case of malaria and subsequently suffered from various illnesses and physical ailments for the rest of her life. She retired from acting in 1934 and devoted the rest of her life to philanthropic work, including founding a school for disadvantaged children in Mexico.

Grossman passed away on May 18, 1991 in Chihuahua, Mexico at the age of 85. She was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017 for her contributions to entertainment.
